About Noise Jewellery
Noise Jewellery began back in 2010, while I was running my own coffee shop in North London. Somewhere between pouring flat whites and chatting with regulars, customers kept asking about the jewellery I was wearing, pieces I'd always made for myself. Before long, they were asking if I could make something for them, and for the people they loved too.
Creativity runs in the family. My dad owned a clothing factory in the 1970s, producing garments for some well-known high-street brands, so I grew up surrounded by fabric, fashion, and the buzz of making things. Alongside that, my South Asian heritage played a huge role in shaping my love for bold details, texture, movement, and jewellery that’s meant to be seen and heard. My son’s Lebanese heritage also inspires my work, adding another layer of cultural richness and storytelling to each piece.
After taking jewellery design courses in beading, silversmithing, and stamping at my local college, I decided to take a leap of faith. That’s when Noise was born. The name is a playful nod to my surname, Din (which literally means “loud noise”), and also to one of my favourite compliments from customers: they love the sound my bracelets, bangles, and earrings make when they move. Noise is a small, one-woman business dedicated to sourcing and curating small, stand-out pieces that are anything but ordinary.
